Right of Withdrawal

Last updated 31 August 2026

If you're a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you have a legal right to withdraw from your Famly Downloader Premium purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason. This page explains how that works for Famly Downloader specifically, when the right no longer applies, and what happens if you withdraw.

Your 14-day withdrawal period

You can withdraw from your Premium purchase within 14 days of the day you paid, for any reason, without needing to explain why.

When you lose this right

Premium removes the free-tier photo download limit and unlocks video downloads as soon as you purchase it. If, after purchasing Premium, you download any photo beyond the free-tier limit, or any video at all, you're making use of what Premium alone unlocks — by doing so, you acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal for that purchase.

You confirm this before you pay, not just by using Premium afterwards: checkout requires you to explicitly tick a box confirming you understand you'll lose this right once you make use of Premium. We keep a record of that confirmation, and its exact wording, against your purchase.

How to request a withdrawal

Email support@spencer.cv within the 14-day window with the following, so we can find and process your purchase:

You're welcome to use the model withdrawal form at the bottom of this page.

What happens when you withdraw

Disputing the charge with your bank instead

If you contact your bank or card issuer to dispute the charge directly (a chargeback) instead of using the withdrawal process above, that's handled separately from this 14-day right — see our Terms of Service for what happens to your Premium access while the dispute is under review and once it's resolved. Disputing the charge doesn't extend your 14-day right of withdrawal above.

If it's easier than writing your own, copy this into an email, fill in the blanks, and send it to us — or use the button below to open it pre-filled in your email app.
